Similar to other advertising and marketing mediums, Leaseboys does not guarantee a successful result or lease transfer. There are many variables that are beyond the control of Leaseboys that prevent us from offering a guarantee of transfer. They include but are not limited to: mileage, vehicle damage, vehicle condition, geographic location, color, monthly payment, down payment, cash incentive etc.
However, we do guarantee that Leaseboys will continue to market your vehicle to buyers interested in lease assumptions until a successful transfer has occurred or until you tell us to stop. We also guarantee that your listing will remain on our site until you tell us to take it down.
You, the customer, has a role in the successful delivery of the Leaseboys service. How long is my registration valid?
As a Buyer, your registration is valid for an unlimited time period.
As a Seller, your vehicle will be advertised with Leaseboys until it is
transferred or until you tell us to remove the posting. There is no expiration
date for the listing.
How soon after registering will my vehicle appear on the website?
Leaseboys listings are constantly updated. Once Seller's complete their registration,
their vehicle posting will be activated that same day to appear on the website.
What is the process to get out of a lease?

What fees are involved in an auto lease transfer?
To transfer your vehicle through Leaseboys, there are two types of fees that you will encounter. The first is the fee Leaseboys charges to advertise and market your vehicle to potential Buyers (click here for Leaseboys packages and fees). The second is the fee that your leasing company will charge you at the time of transfer. Leasing company fees may include both a credit application fee and the lease transfer documentation fee. Each leasing company creates their own fee structure to perform the credit application and transfer process. Please contact us for assistance in finding out the fees your specific leasing or finance company charges or you may also inquire with them directly.

Is it possible to transfer a lease to someone in another part
of the country or between Canada and the US?
Each leasing company sets their own restrictions on transferring vehicles across
state or provincial lines, but most will allow transfers between different states
or between different provinces. Leaseboys has facilitated countless lease transfers
between buyers and sellers in different geographic locations. Buyers can use
local dealerships or local branches to complete the credit approval process
and then make arrangements with the seller to transport the vehicle. Unfortunately,
transferring vehicles between Canada and the US is not possible at this time.
How are cross-country lease transfers normally handled?
In most cases where the Buyer and Seller live in separate locations, they jointly
decide how to make arrangements to inspect or transport the vehicle between
the two locations. There are a wide range of options to consider in these situations
such as arranging to meet halfway in between, having the vehicle inspected by
friends/family or by a dealer/mechanic in the Seller's location and then having
the vehicle transported by rail. Do not hesitate to contact

Where is the vehicle turned in at the end of the lease?
In almost all cases, leasing companies allow the new lessee to return the vehicle
to a local dealership.

How do I post pictures of my vehicle to my posting with Leaseboys?
After registering, simply email up to 10 photos of your vehicle to photos@leaseboys.com
or upload them while completing your online
registration. You can also mail photos to the address listed on our Contact
Us page and we scan and upload them upon receipt.
How do I change information on my vehicle posting or with
my account?
If you need to edit your listing, please login using your User ID and Password
and go to My Info page by clicking on the [My Info] button in the login box.
Please note that [My Info] button will appear up in the login box after you
login.
From there click on [Edit My Information], [Edit Vehicle Information] or [Edit
Lease Information], depending on which information you need to modify. Change
any information and click on [Change Info] button to save and finish.
How will buyers contact me?
Buyers who are registered with Leaseboys will be able to access the phone number
and email address you provided when first posting your vehicle with us.
How do I have my listing removed with Leaseboys?
When your vehicle has been successfully transferred or if you would like your listing removed for any other reason, contact us by email at contact@leaseboys.com.
How do I make my vehicle listing more attractive to potential
buyers?
The best ways to get your vehicle listing is noticed by buyers is to:
Ensure you have ACTUAL photographs of your vehicle posted, post up to 10
clear photos showcasing the exterior and the interior of your vehicle
Include incentives to the buyer such as offering to pay transfer fees, make
the first payments for the Buyer or offer an upfront cash bonus.
If your monthly payment is not competitive with others offered on the site
or attainable at dealerships, or if you have used more than your allocated
yearly mileage, offering a significant cash incentive is the best way to overcome
these barriers and improve the likelihood of a successful transfer.

Am I still held liable once the lease has been transferred?
Each individual leasing company sets its own provisions for whether or not
the original lessee is liable once the lease has been transferred. Most leasing
companies completely remove the original lessee from liability. Some leasing
companies determine liability based on the strength of the new applicant's credit
and will remove the original lessee from liability for an applicant with a credit
rating similar or better than the original lessee. To ensure you understand
the liability provisions for your lease, contact the customer service division
of your leasing company or contact Leaseboys and we will direct you to the right
information specific to your lease agreement.
How do I contact the seller of the vehicle I am interested
in?
In order to access the contact information for the Sellers advertised with
Leaseboys, you must first register as a Buyer with Leaseboys, click here to
Register. Then log in to the site using your Log in ID and password created
during Registration. Once logged in, search for vehicles using our Advanced
or Quick Search options and for a vehicle you have interest in, click on the
"Contact Seller" button. The owner's contact information will then
appear on the screen.
What are the fees for a Lease buyer?
Buyers can register for FREE with Leaseboys and gain access to all Lease Sellers
contact information.
At the time of Lease Transfer, leasing companies charge a fee in order perform
a credit check for new applicants looking to take over a lease and to transfer
the ownership of the vehicle from the Original Lessee. These fees can vary widely
between leasing companies, but typically range in the $150-500 range. In most
lease transfers, the buyer and the seller will split the cost of the leasing
companies transfer fees.
Do I need good credit to assume a lease?
In order to be eligible to assume a lease, you must first go through a credit
approval process with the leasing company that owns the vehicle you have interest
in. Each leasing company has their own criteria and standards for determining
who is credit approved. If you have concerns about your own credit history,
do not hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to offer suggestions as to
which leasing company may best meet your needs.
What do I do if I forgot my log in ID or password?
If you forget your password, please contact us at support@leaseboys.com. You will be asked for verification, after which
your password will be e-mailed to you. We recommend that you do not divulge
your password to anyone and always remember to sign out of your account and
close your browser window when you have finished on the site. This is to protect
against others accessing your personal information and correspondence if you
share a computer with someone else, or are using a computer in a public place.
How often do you update your listings?
Leaseboys updates their vehicle postings daily. As new vehicles are listed
with Leaseboys, they will be added to the website and registered buyers will
receive automatic notification of vehicles matching their preferred criteria.
What is the process to take over a lease?
Register FREE as a Buyer with Leaseboys and search for desired vehicles
Select the vehicle listing that most interests you and contact seller
Ask Seller questions about the condition of the vehicle and incentives
offered, arrange to inspect or test drive the vehicle in person.
